“How do I take my personal pictures and turn them into a slideshow on my Windows 10 background?”
1. Minimize any windows or apps you have open and right-click anywhere on your Windows 10 desktop.
2. From the menu select ‘Personalize’.
3. Select ‘Background’ from the left side menu. It should already be on Background by default so you probably don’t really need to do anything here.
4. At the Background section select ‘Slideshow’ from the drop-down menu.
5. Click the ‘Browse’ button and find pictures from your collection to use for the desktop slideshow. Highlight the image folder and click on ‘Choose this folder’.
6. The Windows 10 desktop should now automatically change to the first image inside that folder you have selected. To manually change to the next image in the slide show, right-click on the desktop and click on ‘Next background image’.
7. Let’s go through the slideshow options. We change the duration of each picture for our Windows 10 background slideshow. We can have it change every minute, 10 min, 30 min or even a day.
We can also ‘Shuffle’ our slideshow images so their not shown in the same sequence every time.
Apparently, Windows 10 slideshow does draw some extra energy so you have the option to keep the desktop slide show ON or OFF when you’re running on battery power.
