“I use my Wii remote a few hours a day and the battery life is OK but I’m getting sick of replacing them so often. I’ve seen some Wii remote chargers in some stores but kinda reluctant on buying one. Are there any good Wii remote chargers you can recommend.”
One of the first Wii remote chargers is still one of the best. The “Wii Charge Station” from Nyko is the most popular Wii charger out there right and rightfully so. I’ve owned mine for a year without any complaints.
The Wii Charge Station comes with:
- a dock station – this is where you put the Wii remotes to charge
- 2 NiMH rechargeable batteries – these will replace the regular AA’s batteries
- 2 rubberized battery covers – the new battery covers are need for charging the battery. The covers comes with grip pads which is a nice touch.
Simply put the rechargeable batteries into the Wii remote, put the new battery cover on and you’re done. You can charge both remotes at the same time and it take about 1 hour for one controller and about 2-3 hours for both controllers at the same time.
For about 25 bucks you will save a ton of cash in the long run from buying AA batteries, and the environment will thank you too.
