System/Mobo Monitor for Linux KDE

July 26, 2008

I found a nifty app, Motherboard Monitor on the Major Geeks website, but it turned out to be a Windows-only app. Do you happen to know of a similar app that I can install onto Kubuntu?

Don’t know any system/monitor tools specifically for Kubuntu but there are a few good ones for the Linux platform. Conky is a cool little app that uses very little system resource and was designed for Linux and BSD. Also take a look at this program Im-sensors. Not positive these will work on Kubuntu though but it’s worth a try. If anyone has any suggestions please leave a comment.
