Speed up Windows Vista with Readyboost

In Windows Vista there is a new feature called ReadyBoost this allows you to speed up Vista with a usb stick or a SD card. It is very easy to enable Vista Ready Boost. Let’s begin.

Plug in a usb thumb drive or an SD card and the ‘AutoPlay’ menu will pop up. At the very bottom select the Speed up my System

Speed up Vista Readyboost

Now you are in the Readyboost Properties, select Use this Device and click OK and you are finished. Vista will now use the usb like a paging file to access files faster.
