I want to save my Firefox bookmarks for back up purposes. Where are Firefox bookmarks stored and how can I save it?
Saving Bookmarks in Firefox:
- Click on “Bookmarks”
- Click on “Organize Bookmarks…”
- Click “Import an Backup” and select “Backup..”
- Now choose where you want to save the JSON file and hit “Save”
Now if you want to restore your bookmarks from that JSON file just go to Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Restore > Select the saved JSON file to restore bookmarks.
Saving Bookmarks in Firefox option 2:
Another way to save your bookmarks in Firefox is saving it as “HTML” and you can do that by going to Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Export HTML… Now just save the HTML file somewhere. To restore the bookmark just go to “Import HTML…”
