Reset iPod Touch

December 26, 2008

How do you reset the iPod touch, sometimes the iPod Touch just freezes on me and I want to be able to just reset it.

When the iPod touch acts a little wonky and not working properly like it should, restarting or resetting the iPod touch will most likely fix whatever issues it may be having.

To Reset the iPod touch:

ipodtouch_restart

  • Press and hold down the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears
  • Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPod Touch
  • To turn iPodtouch back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears

To Reset iPod touch:

ipodtouch_reset

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the
same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
