You’re right the Wii can play Wii games can play Gamecube games. You will need a few things first:
- Gamecube controller or Wii Classic controller
- Gamecube memory card to save your game progress
- Gamecube game
Open the two covers on top of the Wii this is where you plug in the Gamecube controllers and memory cards. Plug the Gamecube controller into the first plug and put a memory card into slot A.
Put a Gamecube game into the Wii like you would any other Wii game, and select the game with the Wii-mote from the main channels.
