Looking for a ultra light and portable laptop

Apple’s Macbook Air is very thin and light it weighs in at about 3 pounds the edges are 1.6 inches thick. if you every seen that Apple commercial where they put the laptop in an office manila envelope that’s a great demonstration on how thin the Macbook Air really is. It’s a little pricey though at about 1700 dollars.
The Macbook Air is a little underpowered compare to other laptops, you can buy a much faster laptop with faster hard drive, faster processor, and a include cd/dvd drive. You can get a lot more for less money but if ultra portable and ultra light is your thing than this is the laptop to get. It’s a very nice looking laptop nothing even comes close aesthetically and you will definitely get looks from your coworkers this might even get you a raise and a promotion or maybe not.
Almost every computer manufacturer make these ultra light and portable laptops Sony invented the category, they make some really nice ones, Dell is another good choice.
