Not everyone wants the world to see what they’re up to so keeping your Twitter account private and blocked from the public is a must for more personal tweets only for your inner circle.
Here’s how to keep your Twitter private:
Log into your Twitter account.
Click on Settings.
Scroll down to near the bottom of the page and put a check on “Protect my tweets”.
Don’t forget to “Save” your new settings.
When you go back to your Twitter home page you will get a notice saying your Twitter profile is now protected. Now only people you approve can follow your tweets.
