“How to create an ISO file also known as disc image that can be open by Daemon Tools lite?”
If you want to create your own ISO files give Free ISO Creator a try, it’s free and very easy to use with simple and straight forward interface. Unfortunately this program is Windows only.
1. Download Free ISO Creator.
2. Launch Free ISO Creator.
3. Click “Add Files” and browse for the file(s) you want to turn into a ISO. You can also add folder(s) as well.
3. Click on “Size Limit” for disc options, CD had 700 MB size limit, DVD-5 is 4.5 GB.
4. ISO Path – click “Save ISO”, this is where your finished ISO file will be placed. Type in the name of your ISO and be sure to keep the .iso extension.
5. Click the “Convert” button when ready.
6. Now just sit back and wait for the ISO conversion to finish.
When the converting is finished try mounting the ISO with Daemon Tools Lite. I just did a test run by creating a ISO with a .MP4 video podcast, then used Daemon Tools Lite to mount the ISO and it worked like a charm. Awesome free application.
