“How much does the new iPhone 3GS cost?”
Apple recently announced the new iPhone 3GS at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).
Here’s the price for the new iPhone 3GS:
- 16 GB version will cost $199
- 32 GB version will cost $299
The new iPhone 3GS will be coming out on June 19 2009.
AT&T offers various numbers of upgrade plans for existing iPhone AT&T customers. Expect to pay $399 for the iPhone 3GS 16 GB version or $499 for the iPhone 3GS 32 GB version on a 2 year contract. Ouch!
Some notable features of the new iPhone 3GS:
“S” stands for speed baby. The new iPhone 3G is faster than previous iPhones especially when it comes to opening web pages and launching apps thanks to a new processor. The iPhone 3GS is also compatible with the faster 3G standard at 7.2 Mbps which technically should mean faster data speed.
3 megapixel Camera – take better quality pictures with the 3 megapixel sensor, auto focus, auto white balance, and auto exposure. You can also take VGA videos at 30 fps, then share it on Youtube, or email.
Better Battery Life – according to Apple the standby time is about 300 hours.
New 3D graphics support for better and faster gaming.
Magnetometer – for compass and third party map applications.
Voice control – talk to your iPhone and look crazy.
