How do I use my pictures as screensaver in Vista

December 3, 2007

You are able to use your own pictures as a screen saver in Vista and in XP. I will go through the steps for Vista specifically. The photo screen saver also has different slide show and transition options to play around with.

  • To go into the screensaver settings click on “Start” and then the “Control Panel”
  • Select “Appearance and Personalization”
  • Now click on “Personalization”
  • Click on “Change Screen Saver”
  • Click on the button to open the list of screensaver options and select “Photo”
  • Now click on the “Settings…” button to browse for your images
  • You can also pick a theme and adjust the slide show speed from this dialog box
  • When finished click “Save” and “OK”
