“How do people make those cool little heart symbols on their keyboards?”
To make a little heart with your keyboard enter ♥ you will see a cute little heart like this ♥.
Another way you can make a hearts symbol is by using the ALT key and your numeric keypad together, that’s the number keypads on the right hand side of your keyboard not the numbers on top of your keyboard. Press the ALT key and the number 3 key at the same time (ALT + 3) to get the same heart symbol. Let me try it right now, ♥. There it worked like a charm, much faster than the other method I showed above ♥ this is kinda fun ♥.
Some other fun ALT key symbols:

If you are on a laptop with no numeric keypad you have to enable number lock. For me it was Fn key and NumLk at the same time (in blue). My numbers are on keys 7,8,9,u,i,o,j,k,l,m.

Ok Mac Users…Here you go …an easy way to get symbols. Mac has made it much easier than a PC. One click after you set it up:
SET UP: Go to System Preferences, click International, click Input Menu, click Character Palette, Close Preferences…At the top by the time an American Flag will appear. Click it, click Show Character Palette…That’s allllllll! Go MAC!
