“I have an iPod touch and I was wondering if I search in Safari does the history of the search delete itself after sometime?”
Nope as far as I know it won’t automatically disappear, you need to manually remove your search history.
To delete browser history:
1. From the main menu touch “Settings”.
2. Scroll down a bit and click or touch “Safari”.
3. From this screen you can do a bunch of stuff like choosing your search engine, block pop ups, and all sorts of stuff including deleting history.
4. Tap “Clear History” and then click “Clear History” from the pop up to confirm.
