Convert PSP videos on Ubuntu Linux

February 7, 2008

One of the main reasons why I continue to use my Windows machine is because of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and converting PSP videos. There are a lot programs that convert your videos to the PSP format on Windows platform. I currently have a dual booting desktop with Vista and Ubuntu Gusty Gibbon installed and I use Ubuntu more than I do Vista.

What I used to always do was transfer videos I needed to convert from my Ubuntu partition over to my Vista partition. Then I would reboot my computer to get into Vista to convert the video I just transferred from my Linux operating system. 3gp converter is my favorite PSP converter and is only available for Windows.

Today I found a PSP converter for Linux that works just as good as 3GP, it’s got a simple user interface with different video converting options. It’s called PSPVC, and here’s a great tutorial on how to install PSPVC.
