Free Ipod Dvd video converter
Wednesday, February 13th, 2008There are a number of programs that can convert your DVD movies to Ipod format. There’s a free program called Handbrake which works on all platforms and it’s open source (me luv open source). This program is very good for ripping DVD’s onto the Ipod. This is an excellent ipod dvd video converter that’s very easy to use it does everything for you. All you need to do is start Handbrake put a dvd movie in your dvd drive and it will see the dvd than you can start transcoding the video to the Ipod format this will also work for the Apple TV.
Free ftp software
Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008The other day I talked a little about what ftp stands for and what it can do, so today I will show you a great free ftp software that I use on my computer. Its called Filezilla, I love this ftp program because it’s free, it’s open source, and it’s works on all platforms so whether you have a Windows machine, Mac, or Linux you can download FileZilla for free and use the software for all your ftp needs.
Replace Adobe Pdf reader
Friday, January 18th, 2008I used to use Adobe PDF reader, that is until I heard about Foxit. Foxit Pdf reader allows to read all your pdf files just like Adobe’s but it is better than Adobe because it loads much faster and doesn’t bother you with updates every time you open the program. Adobe’s pdf reader is bloated software, get yourself a better lighter and probably the best pdf reader, Foxit.

How to recover deleted files
Thursday, December 13th, 2007Here’s a nifty little free program that may help you recover deleted files its called Pandora File Recovery. Have you ever deleted a file from the recycle bin and than later on realized there was a file that you needed. This program can try to recover those files, and the sooner you do it the greater your chances are for recovering deleted files.
