“Can I play all my regular Wii games on the new Wii U console?”
Good news, the Wii U is backwards compatible, that means you will be able to play all your Wii games on the newer Wii U. Nearly all your Wii game discs will work just fine on the newer Wii U. You can even go really old-school by downloading NES, SNES, Nintendo 64 and GameCube games from the Nintendo Network.
A cool new feature is the ability to play some older games you’ve downloaded right on the Wii U controller. If someone in your house wants the TV back you can just stream the game right to the controller.
