“Can you play the same games from the PSP with the new PSP Go?”
The PSP Go will not have a UMD drive so any games for the original PSP will not be playable on the PSPgo. The only way to play games on the PSPgo is by downloading games through the PSN (Playstation Network). But goods news sort of, on Oct 1, 2009 all PSP games that were sold on UMD will be available for downloading from the PSN. There’s no word on how much the downloadable versions will cost though but hopefully a lot cheaper than the UMD version. Kinda sucks you need to buy another version of a game you already own but if you want a copy for your PSP Go that’s what you need to do.

so if i get a psp go i cannot play my brother’s games(the disc things) that he has for his psp slim?

People, why would you go and pay for games you already own when you can download the ISO of that game and just put it in the PSP Go through the USB cable. The PSP Go is already hackable, and it’s pretty easy to do to. Just do a google search on how to do so. That’s how i did mine and i can play ANY PSP game in th ISO or CSO format.
But you have to download the ones you have on UMD Disks, not the ones you don’t. Be a good person and support those people’s hard work and pay for the games.
