Bluetooth headset for PS3

June 1, 2008

I’m thinking about buying a bluetooth headset for my PS3, will any bluetooth headset work? And do they come with charging cables?

You can purchase any bluetooth headset and it should work fine with the PS3. You could even use the same one you use on for your cellphone if you have one. And it should come with it’s own charging cable.

When you use the bluetooth headset for the first time you will need to pair it with the PS3 so that it can recognize the headset. First you need to put the headset into “pairing mode” you should check the manual on how to do this. With the bluetooth headset in pairing mode and the PS3 turned on go to “Settings” then scroll down to “Accessory Settings”, then to “Manage Bluetooth Devices”. Now just follow the instructions on PS3 to finish connecting the bluetooth headset with the PS3. For more information on Bluetooth headsets for the PS3 check out this forum thread.
