Thursday, February 14th, 2008For some reason companies that make mp3 players don’t bother making them with AM radio, I see lots mp3 players with FM radio but no AM. I am not sure why that is maybe they don’t think consumers want AM functionality, or maybe it’s cheaper to make mp3 players without AM radio. If someone out there knows please leave a comment I’m kinda curious about this.

Sunday, February 10th, 2008The power supply is a pretty inexpensive component to replace in your computer. It’s fairly easy to replace a power supply also, it’s usually held on with a couple of screws. When removing the old power supply pay close attention to where the all the different plugs are plugged into for easy re installation.

Different ways to run Windows on a Mac
Wednesday, February 6th, 2008There are a few different options for running Windows on a Intel Mac. The first one is called Boot Camp which comes with the Mac’s operating system, Leopard. Boot Camp allows you to run Windows natively on the machine which basically means it’s running Windows as if it was a PC. In some tests Windows even runs faster on a Mac with Boot Camp than on a regular PC. The only downside to this is you will need to reboot the computer when switching between the two operating systems.

If wired is not an option than having a good wireless connection is the next best thing. Wireless G is good for streaming standard content but if you want to stream hi-def content it might be better to upgrade to Wireless N router.
