The way you charge the PS3 controller is a bit weird to me. When I first bought my Playstation 3 I thought I would be able to charge my PS3 controller while the machine was off, that was a mistake because the next time I tried using the controller the battery was still at the same low level.

When I bought my PS3 the deciding factor for me was which Playstation 3 was backwards compatible with the older Playstaion 2 and PS1 games. Right now the current 40 GB PS3 model cannot play PS2 games, Sony took this feature out to cut costs. But the more expensive one with the 80 GB hard drive can play most PS2 and PS1 titles. The older and discontinued 40 GB and 60 GB PS3 were also backwards compatible.

To put the PSP into sleep mode simply press the power buttons upwards quickly and it the PSP will go into sleep mode. To completely shut off the PSP you would press and hold the power button for a few seconds.

Many people do not know that the PSP can connect to the Internet and visit web-pages just like a computer although not as refined ad a laptop but it still does the job for a little bit of casual surfing or reading emails. The onscreen keyboard takes a bit getting used to. I would not recommend using the PSP to chat with your friend online to long because the keyboard is a little clumsy.
